How to Request a W-9 Form

1. Click on Vendor W-9s → W-9 Requests in the left menu, or select the “Vendor W-9 Requests” card from your dashboard.
2. Click the “Request W-9” button at the top right.
   
3. Fill in your vendor’s details:
   • Company name
   • Contact person name
   • Email address
   • Phone number (optional)
4. Tip: To create multiple requests quickly, check the box labeled “Send additional requests?” before submitting.
5. Before clicking submit, make sure to check the box labeled “Send request to the vendor’s email address” to instantly email the W-9 form to the vendor.
   Our system will then automatically send reminder emails every 3 days until the form is completed and signed.
6. After sending, you’ll be redirected to the Outstanding W-9 Requests section to track status, edit, or delete any request as needed.
7. To send a manual reminder:
   • Click the blue pencil icon next to the request
   • Check the “Notify” box
   • Click “Save changes”
